Only used this HDMI cable with my 32" Samsung LCD for 4 days.now the picture on the TV has 'lights' at the top and the cable is the culprit. No wonder it only cost $3. A piece of junk.
I have not had any problems with this hdmi cable. I had purchased a cable for $50., but when I saw these cables on Amazon while searching for a TV mount, I returned the previously purchased cable. I now check Amazon for any kind of product I need because the prices are much better than the major stores.
No need to pay $30, $60 or $100 for expensive HDMI cables. I am using a pair of these running side by side from a DVD player and a WD TV-Live with no crossover or interference issues. I am doing upconversion but not true Blu-Ray HD but I do not see any issues with picture quality or performance.
This is surprisingly good for the money, but I'd personally go with a $10 cord from Amazon. They have a lower gauge wire (the lower the gauge, the thicker and better the quality) which is much more durable for $10. That being said, I've been careful not to bend and bump this cord and it's help up for a year, so far. I'd say this is not for someone with kids or for any with someone clumsy in the family.
I ordered this as a backup cable. Arrived prior to my TV and it works great. I dont see difference between this and "Mediabridge Ultra Series - 6ft High Speed HDMI Cable - Version 1.3 Category 2 Certified - 1080p - Blu-Ray - PS3". Quality of the picture is same in both.
